THE OBJECT
Pot Pourri by Santa Maria Novella is an aromatic botanical home fragrance based on one of the Florentine house's oldest preparations.
Bergamot, bitter orange and laurel create a fresh, slightly bitter opening. Lavender, thyme, clove and rosemary bring an herbal character through the heart, while patchouli, cedarwood and Peru balsam give the composition a warm, persistent base.
The Pot Pourri preparation has been documented at the Officina for more than three centuries, traditionally combining berries, leaves, flower petals, roots and aromatic botanicals. The diffuser translates that historic composition into a continuous home fragrance with a distinctly green, herbal and Tuscan character.
