THE OBJECT
Pot Pourri by Santa Maria Novella is an aromatic botanical home fragrance rooted in one of the Florentine house's historic preparations.
Bergamot, bitter orange and laurel create a fresh, slightly bitter opening. Lavender, thyme, clove and rosemary introduce an aromatic herbal heart before patchouli, cedarwood and Peru balsam bring warmth and depth to the base.
The composition reflects Santa Maria Novella's centuries-old Pot Pourri tradition, originally created from botanicals including berries, leaves and flower petals and matured according to historic preparations preserved in the Officina's archives. The resulting fragrance is green, herbal and distinctly Tuscan rather than conventionally sweet.
Presented here as a 250 g scented candle in glass, with an approximate burn time of 60 hours.
