THE OBJECT
Yohji by Yohji Yamamoto is a soft floral Eau de Toilette balancing fresh green notes with creamy flowers and smooth woods.
Bergamot and green notes create a restrained, fresh opening before freesia and jasmine bring a clean floral character through the heart. Musk and sandalwood form a simple, softly warm base, giving the fragrance its smooth and understated finish.
Released in 2013 and created by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, this interpretation of Yohji is distinct from the original 1996 fragrance of the same name. Its structure is lighter and more minimal, built around florals, musk and sandalwood rather than the more elaborate composition of the earlier release.
